Become a member of the FFF  

The purpose of this letter is to invite you to become a new member – or re-confirm your membership – of the Fossil Fuel Foundation of Africa and to supply us with all relevant details accordingly. The Fossil Fuel Foundation, which was founded in 1994 as a non-profit organisation (trust) in order to serve the multidisciplinary communities working in coal, carbon and related industries. The organisation has expanded over the years and in consequence has set up a new and exciting vision and mission.  It is this that I urge you to consider – by joining us your voice will become an important one at this vital time in our national and global development.

 

The vision of the Fossil Fuel Foundation of Africa is to be a world class, knowledge-based institution serving the techno-intellectual needs of the multidisciplinary fossil fuel and energy community in Southern Africa through communication, information distribution, coordination, education, promotion and networking.

 

The mission and goals are outlined in the attached documentation, as are the benefits of membership and the technical programme for the year.  The scope of the Fossil Fuel Foundation includes coal, oil, natural gas and coalbed methane gas and alternative energies.   

 

If you would like to become a member of the Fossil Fuel Foundation or renew your membership please fill in the attached form and either e-mail or fax it to the contact details above. Corporate membership can also be obtained.  An invoice will be issued for payment if this has not been included with the registration form.
